04Kart to Car

The hardest stepin motorsport.

The step from karting into cars, run as a program instead of a guess.

The short version

A kart weighs under 400 pounds, has no suspension, no gearbox to speak of, and tells you everything through your hands. A race car weighs six times that, moves around under braking, and punishes the exact inputs that made you quick on a kart.

Most karters make this jump alone and expensively — they buy the wrong car, enter the wrong series, and spend a season unlearning habits. We built a program around the transition because it is the single most wasteful moment in a driver's career.

The pathway

  1. 01

    Assessment

Where the driver actually is. Kart data, race history, and an honest read on whether this is the right year to move.

  2. 02

    The right first car

Almost never the fastest one. Spec Miata teaches more in a season than a GT car teaches in three, and costs a fraction to learn in.

  3. 03

    Seat time

Test days before race days. Enough laps to rebuild instincts rather than arriving at round one still driving it like a kart.

  4. 04

    Licence and first season

Licensing handled, entries made, weekends run. Coaching continues from whoever was already working with the driver in karts.

  5. 05

    The business of it

How to approach sponsors, how to present a driver, how to build something that funds itself. The part nobody teaches and everybody needs.

Why it costs less this way

  • Program-only pricing unavailable elsewhere
  • Discounted rates across karting and cars
  • One coaching relationship, not two
  • No wasted season in the wrong car
  • Shared transport and paddock support
  • Equipment you already own, used properly

The discounts under this program are not available outside it. That is deliberate — it is cheaper for us to move a driver we already know, and we pass that on.
